Elevator Operator - AR - VG - Seasonal

Starting pay up to $15/hr. (dependent on experience)

Weekly pay and overtime opportunity

Primary responsibility is the operation of the grain elevator as it pertains to loading, unloading and transferring grain and grain products in an efficient, safe and sanitary manner.  Also assists or leads in all other aspects of grain handling, storage, maintaining facilities/equipment and elevator operations. 

• Assist all areas of the loading, unloading and transferring of grain and grain products for truck, barge, rail (location specific).
• Perform basic housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• Assists in basic maintenance activities.
• Know and understand all facets of Viserion Grain LLC’s safety programs and culture.

• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is
• One (1) year of grain industry experience is preferred but not required. 

• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a safety conscious environment.
• Ability to work in a quality-controlled environment.

• Regularly walk, bend and stoop.
• Regularly required to walk on catwalks at a variety of heights; up to 200 feet with appropriate safety equipment.
• Regularly climbs stairs and ladders.
• Regularly lifts up to 75 pounds.
• Regularly enters and works in confined spaces.
